Many are familiar with the recent explosion in the CrossFit method of physical fitness. CrossFit is designed to achieve greater levels of health and fitness in individuals through programs that meet people where they are and take them to the next level of fitness. Many hours each week are devoted to this goal of achieving higher levels of physical fitness.

Imagine if there was a program designed to take us to higher levels of spiritual fitness, a spiritual Cross Fit, so to speak. If we devoted a small fraction of the time to spiritual fitness as we do to physical fitness, we could have amazing spiritual results especially when uniting ourselves to the Cross of Christ. We would gain in strength, endurance, and love of our faith and our God.

Now is the time to start your own Christ-Fit program! Just like in a physical CrossFit regime, our spiritual fitness takes planning and time.

We are Catholic. We must take time to plan our spiritual fitness routine to include daily prayer, daily Mass, and the frequent reception of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Become Christ-Fit by making a priority to devote time to God every day.
